Primeiro vamos imaginar apenas a fonte ...</title><content type='html'>P/ Cibele&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Primeiro vamos imaginar apenas a fonte sonora parada emitindo som numa frequencia de 750Hz a uma velocidade de 105m/s. Neste caso, o comprimento de onda (lambda) vale:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;lambda = velocidade/frequencia&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;lambda = 105/750 = 7/50 metros (que dá 14cm).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Portanto, esta emissão sonora tem suas cristas separadas por 14cm. Imagine cristas de ondas em um lago separadas umas das outras por 14cm e se movendo a uma velocidade de 105m/s. É isto que está ocorrendo.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Agora vamos acrescentar a pessoa se aproximando com uma velocidade de 35m/s. Imagine que quando a pessoa está parada, essas cristas de ondas atingem a pessoa com um determinado período de tempo (que é justamente o inverso da frequencia = 1/750 segundos). Perceba que quando a pessoa se move de encontro a estas cristas ela vai encontrá-las mais rapidamente do que se estivesse parada, o que vai resultar em um aumento da frequencia de encontro com estas cristas. Perceba que o comprimento de onda (lambda) não é alterado. As cristas continuam espaçadas de 14 cm. A frequencia de encontros com as cristas de onda é que é aumentada. E logicamente se fosse o oposto (a pessoa se afastando da fonte sonora), esta frequencia seria reduzida. Então vamos calcular a nova frequencia:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;frequencia = velocidade/lambda&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Temos que utilizar a velocidade relativa entre a pessoa e as cristas sonoras.
